I love a perfume oil too! Been obsessed with Maison Louis Marie’s oils for years. Currently searching for a green-herby-citrusy-earthy scent in an oil and nothing really is catching my eye at Sephora. Have Maison Margiela’s From The Garden in my cart to try.

I'm currently having an all out field day with the ones sold at Blue Mercury (and elsewhere, but I've done some serious damage and Blue Mercury lately, ha!). I almost don't even think I have a type per se, I just love fragrances that make me feel happy and alive - hopefully that makes sense! Highly recommend trying a perfume oil!

Hi Natalie! Love your recommendations. I'm almost out of my vitamin C and am torn- both the Dieux serum and Caudalie sound like great options. Would you recommend one over the other for fading and preventing hyperpigmentation? Thanks!

Thank you 🤍 Dieux Deliverance isn't a vitamin c serum so while I highly recommend it as an additional step in your routine, it won't serve you as a vitamin c. For Caudalie, it is a dream for sure - but important to note it's a vitamin c alternative and has no actual LAA. What vitamin c are you using currently?

I’m using Sunday Riley CEO and do like it but just thought about trying something different. I tried Matter of Fact a few yeas ago and didn’t love it so wondered if one of those other two would be good for hyperpigmentation

Hi! So keeping in mind I'm not a derm and have no idea what I'm talking about... Sunday Riley's CEO has 15% THD Ascorbate (a derivative of vitamin c aka L-Ascorbic Acid/LAA). I'm personally a big believer in L-Ascorbic Acid (assuming your skin can tolerate it, which yours probably can since you used Matter of Fact before??) as a product with LAA will give you the benefits of a vitamin c product that alternatives and derivatives can't - even if they claim to. Personally, I'm not familiar with products with vitamin c alternatives other than Caudalie's because I prefer a product with LAA. That said, I love Caudalie's but it's more of a radiance booster for me - if that makes sense - I honestly don't know if it's done anything for my dark spots. Anyways, I took some time and scrolled through all the products on Sephora listed as having vitamin c - most are derivatives, hence my mild criticism of their selection in my post - and I haven't tried any that I would recommend to you. However, if you're will to shop beyond the Sephora sale, I have several recommendations. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Hi! Thank you for this effort and the reminder that brands usually have better sales directly! I think some of the links may not work? For some of them I just got a listing to “productnotcarried”. May just be me but I wanted to flag for you!

Hi! Thanks for letting me know! They seem to all be working on my end, would you mind sharing which links aren't working for you? You might need to try from the web rather than email!

I’ll give it a try via the website and see if that works better!
