Cheap Thrills: Products I Love Under $50
A roundup of fifty accessories, skincare, beauty, hair care and wellness products under $50.
Welcome to the latest edition of myMusings, a meticulously curated newsletter about skincare, beauty and everything in-between. Today is all about the thrill of the hunt — specifically, the cheap and chic finds. From the deals that are too good to pass up to the products that look and feel far more expensive than the price would suggest, the life-changing little things, the game-changing skincare products that really are that good, the surprise hits and fifty of my very favorite things for $50 or less. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you hopefully enjoyed the holiday gift guides I released last month that are always there to help you with all of your gift giving needs. Today’s post is an updated edit of one of my favorite guides from my collection but with less emphasis on holiday gifting and more on the everyday products that make a difference. Let’s dive in.

If you’ve been looking for a fabulous cleanser that’s fragrance-free, sensitive skin friendly and deliciously abundant, you should try this (save w/ myskinterest).
Please let me introduce you to your new favorite powder blush formula and powder highlight (save w/ myskinterest20).
As I enter the sophomore year of my Hair Care Era, I’ve learned that few hair oils compare to this — especially if you’re like me and have a lot of very fine hair that’s easily weighed down by most products.
And while we’re on the subject, it would be a disservice not to mention this and this.
It’s snowing where I live, which means I’m pulling out a pair of these (and considering adding another to my collection).
If you’ve been looking for a light coverage, creamy, lightweight concealer that’s kind to dry skin, let me introduce you to this. I wear the lightest shade.
File this under instant hydration. Your skin will thank me later even if you’re rolling your eyes now.
I just emptied a bottle of my absolute favorite face mist and I’m adding another to my cart (save w/ myskinterest). Though then again, you also can’t go wrong with this or this — though obviously each of these serve different purposes.
Take this as your sign to finally get one of these (don’t bother with the brush, it’s not necessary or anything special).
Not to be dramatic but this changed my life (save w/ myskinterest15). If you buy one thing for yourself, buy this.
Want a cheap and really great sunscreen that you’ll enjoy using and will sit perfectly under makeup? Here you go!
You’re going to love this if you’ve been looking for a chic way to get your hair out of your face.
My love language is small leather goods — and this is under $50 even with personalization! I have a red one and I love it!
This is easily my favorite moisturizer (save w/ myskinterest10). I rarely go a day without it.
I owe every hour of sleep I got this year to this product. It’s really amazing and perfect for everyone in your life (but especially you).
If you can find a shade in my favorite skin tint of 2023, then I highly recommend grabbing one (save w/ myskinterest). It gives me the perfect amount of coverage, it’s kind to dry skin (read: perfect for the winter!) and truly doesn’t feel like anything on the skin. I wear shade two.
You couldn’t get something this good under $50 until this product. Seriously, I’m never going back.
There are few body lotions that are as good as this one.
This is the only hat you need this winter.
We could spend all day on lip glosses, glossy balms, lip oils, etc. but if you’re looking for another to fish out from the bottom of your bag, please let me recommend this (save w/ myskinterest), this, any of these (save w/ myskinterest20), this tiny luxury or this. All of which will look even better when paired with one of these (save w/ myskinterest20).
Prepare to fall in love with this eyeshadow stick — I wear them all the time.
As far as “natural” deodorants go, I find that this, this and this work well for me.
If you have dry skin, this is a game-changer.
I can’t say enough about this makeup bag — it’s the perfect size.
Winter calls for a good hand cream and thankfully there are a few really great ones, but my favorites are these and this (save w/ myskinterest).
If you want volume and length, you should add this luxury to your cart. I’m also a big fan of this and this.
Easily one of my most loved indulgences, this has been my favorite cleanser for the better part of the last decade (save w/ myskinterest).
I bought one of these for several loved ones over the holidays (including myself) and they was a massive hit. Personalization costs just a bit more but trust me, it’s worth it.
I’m a big believer that everyone needs a set of these (save w/ myskinterest10). Extra points when paired with this (save w/ myskinterest), this, this or this (save w/ myskinterest10).
I love everything from Niche Beauty Lab and their formulas are far more cosmetically elegant and effective than the price would lead you believe. My favorites are this (which is a steal), this and this (save big w/ myskinterest).
Enjoy! Let me know if you pick up any of these cheap and chic finds. If there’s any others you love, please feel free to share them in the comments! I’ll be back with more of myMusings later this week!
